Assalamualaikum..
i know its been a while since i really blogged.and i'm sorry for this. i'm either too caught up with life at the moment, or too tired as a result of the 'kecohness' of life at e moment...hmm,not so much stuff happen since..2 wks break(which lavishly enjoyed..), i've managed to forget her(go figure)..teenageicon competition..the ARC album recording..but most importantly,i've been occupying myself with writing and singing...enhancing my skills for guitar,since i screwed up badly for the first time i performed with a guitar ever..but it aint that bad actually..and ouhh,i recently went for Sang Singa Purba's(SP's malay cultural theatre group) workshop..and i'd most probably join them soon.i hope. natasha left for overseas studies and i wish her the best.she has been very supportive of my singing.and i'd appreciate that.thanks for everything nat. i've got a few more performances coming up in the mth.one coming up next wk, at zouk. yes, ZOUK. and for the first time ever, imma sing somethin ppl can dance to.and it will feature shah along..been wanting to sing with him for a while.lets see how we collaborate. its for the launch of SP's very own magazine called SPUNK. its on this coming friday 13th. yes,friday the 13th.haha though i dont actually believe in it. and it'll be held at night i guess..7 or 8++..so be sure to catch me there. the more important performance will be held at esplanade library next 2 wks.and thats where i really wanna impress. its gonna be a few wks of more music and performing i guess.i hav yet to start recording my new song for REMT assignment. and theres a few more assignments to finish up. balancing the time well, is gonna be the biggest factor. had the recording for the arc album today..i wrote the song which i meant for the rnb and soul vibe but it turns out pop after the arrangement and stuff.its very pop.and its somethin i dont really appreciate. a tad of pop is ok.too much is really annoyin??haha.anw its already finalised i guess and i cnt do anythin about it..so. lets hope ppl likes it. and i've been put in charge of SP's dikir barat group, before i can do anything about it, i havta revive it first.
future plans include, MUZIKARAMA(SP's malay theater production, which i'm still not sure yet to commit) 2 dikir competitions coming up(still aint sure) and probably a few more performances..seems like i cant run away from that actually. and i feel like i should be contributing to the malay scene again since thats where i started.its my roots. and thats probably why i joined SSP...
